Elkhorn Mountain Inn is located right by the interchange for Montana City, about five miles south of Helena on I-15.  Interstate 15 runs from the Canadian border south through Great Falls, then through Helena and Butte to Salt Lake City and eventually to Los Angeles. There is convienient access to I-15 from the Helena airport.

   Interstate 15 also provides convienient access to Glacier National Park in northern Montana and to Yellowstone National Park in southwestern Montana.
